I have a question regarding invitations to my wedding. My fiance wants to invite his ex-girlfriend,. They dated for 3 years, 4 years ago. I have never met her and do not care to, especially at my wedding. They have remained friends since. Do I have to honor his request even though it would make me unbelievably uncomfortable on the most important day of my life? Please help me, I don't know what to do! Thank you!

Of course you don't HAVE to invite anyone you do not want to attend but consider your grooms feelings too. This is a very personal decision; a decision that must be made by you and your groom. Have some discussion about it. Tell him that inviting his ex would make you uncomfortable. It seems to me that, if you have not met this "friend" by now that she must not mean too much to your fiance. Maybe he will say that he would rather have you comfortable without her attending and will tell the ex so. Whatever the groom says, you should examine the resons why this ex's attendance would make you feel so uncompfortable. Again, speak with your fiance.
