Inviting co-workers and boss to the wedding?

Are you supposed to invite co-workers to a wedding. I work virtually and all my coworkers are located all over the globe. I don't feel it is necessary or appropriate to invite them, or even my boss. My fiancee thinks at a minimum my boss should be invited. Thoughts?

There is no rule that says you have to invite your boss or your co-workers. Invite those you are friendly with and care to have at your wedding, if you have room on the guest list. If your co-workers have been hearing all of the wedding plans then simply memntion to them that your guest list is limitted and although you wish you could invite everyone your parents are in control. (Always blame the parents, my kids do!). Pirate
