     Inviting daughter's father and family

I have a three year old daughter with a man that I am not getting married to. Her dad, his family, and I have a great relationship, but I'm just wondering if it would be proper etiquette for me to invite them. He and I were never married.

Typically, no. This would be the same as inviting your ex husband, which can be uncomfortable for some guests and your fiance.

It may be best not to invite them.
