We are inviting children and I'm not sure of all of their names or spellings (there are so many different ways to spell names these days) I will write out the full names on the invites that I know, but if i were to put "and family" or "and children" which one would be more appropriate? Any other suggestions besides calling everyone?

Dear Bj in WI,
It may be best to include a little note with the invitations stating that they may bring their children. It you aren't using inner envelopes this is the best way to do it anyway.
