     Meal wording on Response card

Our guests will need to give us their meal selection ahead of time. How do I word that on the response card? Is there a place to put accept or regret?

It is preferable not to have to ask for your guests choice of meals on a wedding invitation. If you absolutely have to give an exact meal selection count to your caterer then you could word a reply card to include a guest's meal choice th is way:

M_ invitees name(s)__(recipient should fill in the names of all invited who are either attending or not attending as declared below)

will ___________ attend.

The recipient will insert the word not if they do not plan to attend and leave it blank if they will attend.

Do you prefer _______chicken or _______beef?

The recipient will check or put numbers in the spaces provided.
