Parents remarried with same last name.

My Parents are both remarried but they have the same last name. How can I list names so that all parents are listed? This is what I was thinking:

Mr. and Mrs. John and Suzy Smith

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Smith

request the hounour of your presence

to celebrate the marriage of their daughter

Ashley Ray

to

Mr. Joseph Ray White Jr.

Dear Aarnold,

This would work. But, if you are listing first names, you would have to list all of the names. Plus, there is a silly, old rule about not separating a man from his last name. Some still expect to see this. So, it would be: Mr. and Mrs. Suzy and John Smith.

Best wishes,

Thanks for the post. Now my question is " How do I ensure that the invitation is clear that Suzy Smith and Joe Smith are my parents?

There really is no way unless you only listed your biological parents.
