     Placecard suggestions?

Simple enough question, but please bear with me. With regards to placecards at the rehearsal and reception dinner, with married couples, should the placecards read:

"Mr. John Q. Public" and "Mrs. John Q. Public"

or

"Mr. John Q. Public" and "Mrs. Jane D. Public"?

In other words, does the wife take the husband's name on the placecard?

Getting married pretty soon here, so I might have even more sill questions over the next few days... Wink

Dear Daniel,

You would use the woman's name. So, it would be Mr. John Doe and Mrs. Jane Doe.

Best wishes,
