     Placement of "Black Tie Invited"

The invitation I'm using has a die cut right corner where the couples' names appear. In this case does that "Black Tie Invited" get placed in the left or immediately above the couples' name within the die cut?

Dear Rosey,

We don't use Black tie invited because it is confusing. Black tie would be printed on the bottom right of the invitation only if this is a reception invitation or a wedding/reception invitation. It is never printed on a wedding invitation.

Best wishes,

I thought you could use "black tie" on an invitation when the wedding and reception is being held at the same place. On the invitation I have Reception immediately following...is this wrong? Should I send separate invitations for the reception?

You are correct. If this is a wedding and reception (combination) invitation, you can include Black Tie.

No worries Wink
