     Printing wedding invitation envelopes

I am fairly computer savvy and wondered if is acceptable to print the envelopes (directly on the envelope, not on labels) instead of hand-addressing them. Thank you for your help.

It is acceptable to address your wedding invitation envelopes using a printer and computer but remember that, although this is a way to save a bit of money, it may be time consuming and you may need additional envelopes in case you have a computer or operator error. Be sure to purchase a good piece of printing software.

Many people still feel it is more personal to receive a hand addressed invitation.
