Re-inviting guests to a previously canceled wedding

My fiancee and I had planned a wedding earlier this year, and after two serious cases of cold feet, canceled the wedding, and separated for a bit. Now we have reconciled and started talking about wedding plans again. My only concern is how to invite guests to another wedding. Its a new location and its not on the same date since our previous wedding date has passed. Do I just send out another invitation as if nothing had ever happened? Should I put certain wording into the invitation about a re-invite? Please help, I want to do this right.

Dear Stina,

It really depends on how you handled the cancellation of the first wedding attempt. You may have damage control added into the mix. Many may not take this wedding attempt seriously. This is the reality of it. So, it may be best to assume many guests need the reassurance that the wedding will take place. As long as your wedding isn't too formal, perhaps an invitation that includes wording stating that you really are going to walk down the aisle this time might get some laughs and your guests attending.

Best wishes,
