My daughter's wedding will be private, so we had 'announcement of the wedding' printed. We want to have a reception enclosure along with some of the announcements and I we don't know how to word this enclosure. The receptions is not going to be a big sit-down-dinner, but a simple affair with mexican food stations, cake, and punch, etc. It is in our yard around the pool and tennis court. It's not a huge yard, so I want to word the enclosure to let the people know it's just a "come and mingle, have a bite to eat, and greet the bride and groom"-type thing. Does that make sense? How do I word this?

You will only send announcements to those not invited to the wedding or reception. Send reception cards to those you wish to invite to the reception. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
