     Reception invitation question.

I found the attched wording format on the internet and just wanted to make sure that it is proper wording for a wedding reception invitation where the bride and groom are getting married in a private ceremony (i.e. no family or friends)

Dear Dsanders,

I'm glad you checked. No, it is best not to mention the wedding, because you are not inviting guests. It is like saying that you are having a beautiful wedding in paradise and they are not invited. Plus, it could be confusing.

Just send a typical reception invitation. Please read about wedding invitation etiquette.

Best wishes,
