Timing for Sending Wedding Invitations During the Holidays

We are getting married in February. I know that you are supposed to send invitations out about two months ahead of time, but I was a little worried about things getting lost in the bustle of the holidays. Would it be acceptable to send invitations right before Thanksgiving? Or better to wait until early- to mid-January? Thank you!

Dear Baltobride,

It is best to send them mid December to very early January. There would be more of a chance of the invitation being lost if sent too early.

Best wishes,
