My fiance is from West Virginia and I am from Wisconsin. We are planning our wedding for September 2009 in West Virginia. We are also planning a second reception in Wisconsin in October 2009 because we expect that many of my family and friends will be unable to travel to attend the wedding in West Virginia. We plan on inviting my family and friends to the wedding in West Virginia as well as the reception in Wisconsin so they can decide which or both events to attend. Is it inappropriate to only invite my family and friends to both events or is it appropriate since the second event is primarily being planned for the friends and family that cannot travel to attend?
Two receptions only one family invited to both??
