Using bride's married name on second wedding invitation
This is my 2nd wedding and my fiance's 1st. I currently use my 1st husband's last name due to the fact that we have children. I am not that wild about using it on the invitations or announcements (neither is my fiance). If I use my maiden name, old friends may also recognize me better.
Do I have to use my current last name or can I use my maiden name?

You really should use the name you go by, the name everyone knows you by now. Perhaps you could hyphenate it and use Bride Maiden-Married. Then everyone will know. That being said, you really shouldn't be inviting guests to your wedding if they don't know you've been married and divorced and have a new last name. If the guest wouldn't recognize your married name then chances are you're not that close. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
