Which is the appropriate time to put on invitations: when the music starts or when the ceremony begins? I think it should be when the music starts, but others disagree with me!

I would venture to say it's when the music starts. If one waited until the ceremony began, they'd be being seated as the mothers were being seated! lol

Definitely. You would mention the time that you want your guests to be seated, which is the time that the music begins.
