Wedding invitation for friend who's providing favors?

I have hired a friend to do the wedding favors. This is not a friend I would have invited to the wedding. But, now that she is doing the favors should she get an invitation?

Dear BSims,

If you are paying her, she is in the same category as your wedding vendors, which you don't necessarily invite. If you think she will have hurt feelings, though, since you refer to her as a friend, you might want to invite her.

Best wishes,
