What are invitation informals

Hi,

I was looking through an invitation catalog that referred to "informals" as part of the invitation. Excuse my ignorance on that matter, but what are they? They had no explanation which causes me to think I should know what they are!

Dear JogiesGirl,

Don't worry. These are not used much any more. It is no reflection on you. These are often used to list personal information, much like a business card. I suppose you would use these as inserts.
