We have a guest list of about 250. Most of the guests are local friends and family. Do we need to send a Save the Date card to all of our guests, or just the ones who will be traveling from out of town?

Save the Date cards are not obligatory. In fact, they are not necessary at all. For those who will be traveling, you could simply let them know about the date in the future. This can be done as easily as sending an email. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
