     Wording on RSVP card

Thank you for your service! I would like to know your suggestions for wording on the RSVP card regarding a choice of entrees at the reception. It is a seated dinner with a choice of either fish or beef.

I will need to indicate the choice on the place card for the waitstaff. I envision knowing how many fish and beef entrees we will need and for a couple e.g. 1 fish and 1 beef, but is there anyway to know if Sally is requesting fish and Bill wants beef?

Thank you!Crazy

Re: [Gigi] Wording on RSVP card [In reply to]

Dear Wording,

I believe the best way to do this would be to either have a separate response card for each person, or to write the typical M____ Accepts Regrets Please make your meal selections below (here you would have your meal selections) twice on each card.

Of course, if you are inviting more than two in each household, you will probably run out of room on the card. In fact, it may become quite crowded on the card with the separate response lines and meal selections lines, followed by the response date. But, these are the only options I can think of that would be appropriate for you.

Please remember to lightly number the back of each card to indicate who is replying. You will have a master list of their names and the number of the response card. Some will not write their entire name or reply with no name.

Best wishes,
