Wording wedding reception invitation inviting young adults 16 and older

I'm not sure how to handle this and I'm hoping for some advice. For my daughter's upcoming wedding reception (wedding is private) we wish to invite young adults 16 and over but not children under 16. Is this poor etiquette if a family has a child over 16 and one under 16 to include one child and not the other? Any suggestions on how this could be worded on the invitation?
