We are getting married down south. When we come back we're hosting a dinner and reception for everyone. We are wondering what to write in the invitations so that people don't get confused as to who is invited for dinner. Any suggestions or do we have to have 2 separate invitations? Thanks.

If you're not including everyone in both events then you must send two separate invitations, one for the wedding and one for the reception. After all, would you like to get an invitation that says you're invited to one and not the other?
When you're unsure about what to do always put yourself in the guest's place and usually that will be your answer. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
