not invited to wedding but going with a friend who's invited

I wasn't invited to a friends wedding. I know they can't always invite everyone, so one of my friends plans on taking me as a date. Is that okay? The wedding is only a few days away.

As long as your friend was invited, "with guest" there should be no problem with your attendance.

I completely agree. If a guest wasn't offered to your friend, it wouldn't be polite to accompany her.
