     wedding website on invitation

Hi, I am not having a bridal shower and was wondering if I can state my wedding website on the inside of the reception card. My wedding invitations are already printed out and I wanted to mention the wedding website somehow, instead of the outside of the invitation, I was going to mention it on the inside of the reception card. Is this ok to do? The website is not necessarily for the bridal registry, it has other info that's nice to share w/ guests, however it does contain registry info. Thank you!

Dear Spwedding,

It is not polite to include a link to your wedding website with the invitations because it includes gift information. Usually, one of the best ways to inform everyone about your wedding website is to email them a link. As long as your registry info is not on the front page, it shouldn't appear as a plea for gifts. You could include language in the email that directs your guests to the part of the website you want them to focus upon, like your pictures.

Best wishes,
