     Song to Sing

My wedding is a month away and, I would like to sing a song to my husband at the reception. We have been together for five years and I can not find the right song. I just want to say I love you and have a good melody. "A moment like this" (Shania Twain) is to boring. I was thinking about "Im your angel" (Celine Dion). If anyone knows of a sappy love song, please let me know.[reply]

Here's a few....

Grow Old with Me by John Lennon

Have I told you Lately that I love you by Van Morrison

Unforgettable by Nat King Cole

The Best Thing that ever happened to me by Gladys Knight

True Colors by Cindi Lauper

The Power of Love by Huey Lewis

Endless Love by Luther Vandross

My favorite... I will always love you by Dolly Parton

Hope these are "sappy" enough for you!!!

You might try an old song like "Our Love Is Here to Stay" or "You Are the Sunshine of My Life". If you are not an experienced singer, it might be a good idea to stick with a simple melody that might be performed more easily.
