A Different Kind of Father/Daughter song

My mom and dad have been divorced since I was 5. While I do still have contact with my dad, it's been sporadic to say the least. I love him very much, and I know he loves me...but it is still not an easy relationship.

My problem is that all the Father/Daughter songs I have seen & heard are either songs for when your parents are still together, songs where your father has been there to see you grow up, or just really arnt father/daughter songs. Unsure

Lyrics are important to me. I want to find a song that shows my dad how much I love him, despite the fact he has not been there for me my whole life.

Does such a song exist? Please help!

Thank you in advance,

Sandi~

I think we have addressed this issue in the past so please do a search on this forum for keywords like father/daughter or father/bride and see what comes up.

Actually, I did that already (both 'father/daughter' and 'father/bride') and didnt find anything.
