     Mother/Son & Fatherless Bride Dance

My estranged father is not attending my wedding and I am struggling with what I will do when my H2B dances the mother/son dance since I will not have a father/daughter dance

If there is a man in your life who has been like a father to you and is available to attend your wedding and reception, then I would suggest you give him the honor of walking you down the aisle as well as dancing with you during the Father and Daughter dance. It doesn't take being related and genetics to be a wonderful father.

If you do not have this type of person in your life, you might consider giving the honor to your future father-in-law. There is nothing written in stone regarding this, but the main thing is that you are comfortable on your special day and that the dance brings you the joy it should... sharing a special moment with someone who means a great deal to you.
