wedding song for father/bride dance is in english, but my father doesn't understand english.....
Hi everyone, i have a slight problem with the wedding plans. it's not a big deal but it's important to me. i've been looking all over the internet for song translations for "dance with my father" by luther vandross but i can't find anything. this song is perfect for me and my father but, he only speaks spanish and i really want him to listen to the song and be able to relate to its meaning. i really want him to cherish the moment like i know i will. does anyone have any ideas? please let me know.....thank you much

I'm still researching this for you. How soon is your wedding? I have sent requests out for info and am awaiting responses. If unable to find for you, please consider the following suggestion.
Obtain the Karaoke version of the song, and have a friend sing the song in spanish and record, then copy to a disc and have the DJ play for you at your wedding. I'm sure your father will be pleasantly surprised. You could even add a personal message to him at the end of the song. It would be a beautiful demonstration of your love and respect for him.
