     Unresponsive Groomsman!

My fiance's brother, also a groomsment, is a singer and he volunteered to sing at both our ceremony and our reception (he is singing our first dance with the band). I have repeatedly, politely asked my fiancee to check in with him and confirm the song at both ceremony and reception and get any information he needs about the key of the song, lyrics etc. My fiance still hasn't heard back. I don't want to step in, but I need to know if he is going to sing do we can plan with the band. Is there anything I can do to speed this up? Is it rude if I go over my fiance's head and call him myself?

Dear Giulia,

It is perfectly fine to inform your fiance that if he can't find out the information you need to know from his brother, that you will. Give him a definitely time line to do so and then move forward.

Best wishes,
