My Aunt, who is a professional photographer and who has done many weddings, was going to photograph my wedding. However she recently found out that she is pregnant and is going to have the baby about a week before the wedding. I now need to find a photographer, but I don't really have the money in my budget since I wasn't planning on hiring one. There will be several competent amateur photographers coming to the reception, so I would just need someone to do the posed shots and the ceremony. I would even prefer the images to be digital since I would like to print off the pictures and make the album myself. Someone who is trying to break into the industry would be ideal, but I am not having much luck finding someone like that. Any suggestions?

Do try and budget $500 to $750 for a professional photographer.
Call several and explain the situation. You might be surprised to learn that for what you need can be very affordable. Please remember that this is your special day and you want to make sure that your photographs are the best they can be. After all is said and done, all you will have are receipts and your memories.
If you can't find a professional photographer, you might want to check with your local university or college, and see if one of their photography students would be available during that time. Perhaps your wedding could be considered an "internship" opportunity. Be sure to request to see examples of their work.
