     Bride/Groom Wedding Preferences

My future husband was previously married as was I except in his case he did not have a big elaborate wedding and I did. I would just rather elope and then have a giant wedding reception with all the thrills. Any suggestions as to how we can work this out without hurting anybody's feelings? Thanks for any advice you might have.

There is no etiquette answer for your question, sorry. The best thing I can suggest is for the two of you to make lists of "must haves" and try to incorporate those items into a wedding that will make each of you happy. If you need help, speak to your clergy or seek couples counseling.

Good Luck
