Celebrating Grandma's 80th Birthday at My Wedding

My soon to be Mother in Law wants to celebrate my fiances grandma's 80th birthday (the same day as the wedding) with a birthday cake or announcement of some kind. She approached me and asked me my opinion. I dont mind at all if this is done during the rehearsal dinner or reception. Do you have any ideas of when the best time for this would be? Thanks

As a tribute to the Grandmother, I would do a special announcement at the reception and have her dance to a very special song with the groom and the groom's father to honor her. If you have a cake, it will take away from your wedding cake. If there is an after brunch, this could also be a place to honor her. Just my opinion.
