     Ceremony Site Too Large

I'm getting married in a gorgeous chapel on my university's campus. I love it and couldn't be happier. It's one of those places that doesn't need much in the way of decor as it's beautiful as is.

However, I did a bit of math and realized that over 500 people can be seated comfortably on the ground level of the chapel. I'm only inviting maybe 200, and expecting 120-140 to come to the wedding.

Is there any way I can make the chapel feel cozier without it looking silly or cheap or weird?

This often happens with smaller numbers than 200. You can have your ushers place fewer people on each row but that could cause some to be further back than they want to be. Don't be overly sensitive to the size of the chapel, just enjoy the long walk and the day.
