     Change wedding date

Hi
I sent out my save the date emails for an April 2007 wedding. My fiance decided to push the wedding date back for several reasons. One I live in California right now and may move back to Georgia when my two year contract ends with my company in December 2007. He also needs more time for financial reasons. How do I let guest know this. It's still very early and I'm the only that has to change dates with my vendors.

Dear Changing Dates,

It is best to send cards out to all who received save the dates telling them that the wedding has been postponed and they will be notified when the wedding will take place at a later date. You don't need to go into any detail.

Best wishes,

We are thinking of having the wedding around the first or second week of December. Is this a bad idea? Is this too close to Christmas? This is the best time for us since I will be moving back to Georgia.

Also I was planning to have a beach wedding in Florida with a shell theme. Would that be appropriate for a winter wedding?

Please post your question as new, one question at a time, in the appropriate category.

Thanks.
