I am planning a wedding for the end of April '06. I am having a tough time finding a church because we want a close family friend of my fiance to marry us. He is from out of town and there are no local churches of this denomination. An outdoor wedding would be beautiful, but is the weather this time of year too risky?

Weather always has to be a consideration at any time of year. You can always rent a tent but if the temperature is chilly you may be uncomfortable and so will your guests.
You haven't said what denomination but have you checked around with your local churches to ask if they would allow an officate of another denomination or faith to peform a ceremony at their church?
Will you be having a reception afterwards and, if so, where will that be held? If at a restaurant or catering facility they may be able to set you up with a room to have your ceremony.
