     Inviting Guests

My wifes daughter (age 30) from a previous marriage is getting married in October 06, We were asked to make up a list of people we would like to invite. Making this list has created a big dilemma for us or should I say mostly me. I have 2 brother's and sister in law's and 2 cousin's. All 6 have never met her or even seen picture of her. Needless to say it is an odd situation

So my question is should we invite or not invite them? I also feel it would be wrong to expect them to go through any expenses by giving a gift or possibly having to stay at a hotel for one night for someone they do not know.

Weddings are no longer the social event for the parents as they once were -- with many couples paying for most of the wedding themselves. Only those relatives close to the bride and groom should be invited.
