Is it wrong for mob to ask bride to change wedding date?

My daughter and I had been very close for many years. She recently moved out of state with her fiance and has been planning her wedding. When she first started discussing her date I told her that date wouldn't work for me. I hoped that she would chnage the date. Is it wrong for me to ask her to change her wedding date to one that works with my schedule?

I don't think it's wrong for you to ask, but you shouldn't insist. Be sure your daughter understands your reason for asking and be sure that you try to be accommodating as well. Let her know how important it is to you to be there on her day.
