Keeping groom's ex-wife from causing trouble at the wedding
Based on past behavior, there is a possibility that the groom's ex-wife will cause a disturbance at the wedding. Should I prepare legally or just call the police when and if it happens?

Ha the ex-wife been invited? If so,, I'm not sure why you would have invited her, knowing her past behavior. But, if she has been invited then you'll have to decide how dangerous she could be and perhaps hire an off-duty police office to stand by as security. This could be done if she hasn't been invited and you're worried she may just show up uninvited.
We cannot give legal advice so, if I were you, and I was worried that this woman is a real danger, I would consult with a lawyer about getting a restraining order. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
