     Processional and recessional order

My friend is planning a small wedding. Her bridal party is to include a best man, 2 ushers, maid of honor, matron of honor, miniature bride and groom, and 3 flower girls. What would be the processional and recessional order? Should a ring bearer be added? thanks

Dear Up and Down the Aisle,

Please no miniature bride and groom unless this is a wedding for them as well. If these attendants are children and ages 9-14 (roughly), they would be junior bridesmaids and junior ushers.

The attendants walk up the aisle shortest to tallest with the honor attendants walking directly before the bride. Typically the matron of honor is last before the bride.

Including children of any age is a personal decision. There is no need for a flower girl or ring bearer.

Best wishes,
