Are Saturday weddings really a lot more than Sunday Weddings? A friend told me it was the most expensive day to get married. Why?

The price for Saturday receptions is higher because demand for that day is higher. Most people don't want to party on a Sunday and then have to get up for work and Friday nights are tough for those that have to work, get home to change and arrive at the wedding on time.
