     Sensitivity for other bride-to-be

One of my co-workers has been engaged for over a year now; I for less than 4 months. Unfortunately, the way things have worked out (with the school schedules of our bridal party and 3 of our cousins getting married this summer), our wedding is taking place the weekend before my co-worker's wedding. I'm afraid she might feel like I'm trying to upstage her or something. How can I be sensitive to this?

It's kind of you to be considerate of your co-worker but typically we don't invite those we work with to our weddings. So, unless the two of you are related in some way, or will be inviting a large group of the same people, I don't think you need to worry. Just tell the co-worker what you told us here and she should be understanding.
