     State laws

Hi,

we have a close relative who will perform our wedding ceremony in Texas. She is licensed in New York. Do you know if she needs to be registered in Texas?

Thanks mucho

Call your local county clerk/marriage bureau. They will tell you exactly what she needs to do. Each state has its own laws and requirements. She may just have present her papers and register.
