     Time off from work

Not sure if this is the correct place for this question but I'll try it.

What is the normal time a person sets aside for their wedding. A week seems reasonable for the honeymoon, but is it ok to request more time off before the wedding to finish up the details?

Thanks!

There is no etiquette answer to your question, sorry.

This would be a very personal decision based on your job, your employer, what sort of relationship you have, etc.

I completely agree. It seems that you would have to talk to your human resources department as well.
