     What is "house party"?

My husband's cousin is getting married in a few months and she sent me a note saying "I would be honored if you could be a part of my house party"

I have absolutely no idea what she is talking about, and I've asked some of my friends and they aren't sure either.

Is this an actual party/pre-wedding event? or is it part of the bridal party?

If I am in the wrong forum, please let me know so I can move it.

Thanks!

I don't have a clue at all either. I would suggest you question her.

Hello Randy's Girl,

There is no such proper prewedding party. It must be a local reference or some sort of commercial type of party. Hopefully it is not some sort of created gift giving event.

It may be best to contact her and ask. Please let us know what you found out. Wink

Best wishes,
