I was wondering if there where particular days of the week that I should get married? I was thinking that maybe a friday or a saturday would be best, but I've also heard that the costs for reception sites etc go up on weekends. I also want to make it easy for my guests.

The most convenient days for most guests to attend a wedding are probably Friday Evening, Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Saturday is the most popular but also the most expensive for that same reason. Friday evening could be difficult for some having to travel or those coming from work. Sunday is less popular because most guests have to get up early for work on Monday. Consider the bulk of your guests and your budget and select accordingly. You cannot please all the people all the time.
