Dear Different States,

Traditionally, the wedding was hosted and arranged by the bride's parents, although the mother and bride made most of the decisions. So, the bride would decide where the wedding would take place. However, most commonly, these modern days, the couple decides together. After all, the couple will be deciding many more difficult issues in the future.

Sincerely,
Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
