Who pays for hotel for pastor after rehearsal dinner?

Who is to pay for the pastor staying in a hotel after the rehearsal dinner? It is approximately a 2 hour drive back to his home, only to return for the wedding the next day. We do know that typically the groom's parents pay for his services for the wedding and wonder if they pay for all of his expenses towards the wedding. We (brides' parents) are paying for the wedding 100%. Thank you in advance for your response.

Dear Ms. Kitten,

It is very generous of you to pay for your daughters wedding, as it is not your obligation. And, even though in the past, the groom's parents may have been paid the cost of the facilitator, it is now the couple's responsibility. It is their wedding and all costs are theirs.

Best wishes,
