My fiance and I both want different dates. We can't come to an agreement on this. He wants a May wedding where as I want a July wedding.
I want a July wedding because we want an outside wedding and May rains alot here.
Any advice would be great.

Planning an outdoor wedding does have it's hazards.
July tends to be very hot. Personally, I'd prefer to set up tents and hope for no rain in May then to have to deal with extreme heat in July. Plus, there's more chance of lightning in July than in May.
Why not compromise and Select September or October? Depending on where you live, both of those months could be "good weather" months. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

You'll have to do a lot more talking and a little bit of compromsing. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

Della, Perhaps you should try to find your venue and check on the availabilty and pricing for both of the months. That could be a very valuable piece of information in your argument. The most appealing time of year will hold a higher price tag and will be book up earlier. Nancy Tucker President of Weddings Beautiful US http://www.weddingsbeautiful.com

Thanks Nancy, I guess I am not getting very far with this question as the pace we want our wedding isnt charging us and the minister has the same pricing no matter what time of year it is.
Thanks for the advice but I think we are going to have to discuss this more between teh 2 of us.
