     escort cards

What is the proper way to word escort cards? Do couples go to gether and if yes, formally (Mr. and Mrs. Max Smith) or informally (Max and Mary Smith)? What about children? Do the go with the parents? Does each child in the family get their own? I have a family with a five year old and 17 year old. At what age do I give them their own card?

Dear Escort Cards,

You would list the parents with their titles, formally as Mr. and Mrs. If the children are sitting at the same table, write, 'and family' on the card or envelope. If the children are sitting at a different table, they receive their own card.

Best wishes,
