We found a beautiful place but the food is poor - quality as well as basic package. The future bride and groom love the place and do not mind the food. The bride's parents hate the food, and think the place is beautiful but feel very uncomfortable about the food. They do not know how to tell the bride withtout creating a big rift. How to solve such situation ?

Re: [alice] location vs. food - how to chose ?

Dear Location vs. Food,
If the bride's parents feel so strongly about the food, they could mention that it is a component to consider, after all they do need to think about their guests. They could approach the subject as if it is just their opinion and ask the couple to think about it. Sometimes we just get so carried away by the beauty of a place, we can't think straight.
But after consideration, if the bride and groom still don't seem bothered about it, then this is the perfect place for them.
